Snow Will Fall on Saturday during the Winter Holiday Festival 2012
This Saturday, December 8, 2012 Santa Claus will visit the City of Bell Winter Holiday Festival 2012 at the Bell Community Center to give Bell children a surprise Christmas gift and frolic in the snow.
Although sunny California skies are expected, the Bell Community Center will be converted into a true Winter Wonderland with a white blanket of snow covering Treder Park for Bell children to celebrate the holiday spirit free of charge.
Children under the age of 5 will have a snow area just for them while kids ages 6 to 15 will snow sled! Other activities will include free arts and crafts, bounce houses for jumping and a live performance by Mariachi Divas, an all female Mariachi troupe, at noon.
Also, children ages 10 to 15 will receive a free hair cut from Charlie’s Chopshop Salon, if parents pre-register by calling (323) 773-1596, appointments are limited. For those that are hungry, great food will be available for purchase from Wienerschnitzels.
“We are excited about bringing a little Winter Wonderland to Bell, and looking forward to the children’s smiles that will follow Santa’s visit”, stated Bell Mayor Ali Saleh. “More importantly, on behalf of the City Council, we’d like to wish Bell families many blessings during this holiday season and a “Feliz Navidad” with much love, laughter, and joy.”
Bell City Councilmembers will be on site to share their holiday wishes including Mayor Ali Saleh, Mayor Pro Tem Violeta Alvarez, Councilmembers Danny Harber, Ana Maria Quintana and Nestor Valencia.
