A free family event for kids and dogs of all ages
Bell, Ca.- On Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 5:00 PM, the City of Bell will host its Halloween SPOOKFEST 2012, a fun-filled family event for children and adults of all ages at Veterans’ Memorial Park located at 6500 Wilcox Ave, Bell, CA 90201 in the City of Bell.
Halloween SPOOKFEST 2012 will feature game booths, bouncers, carnival rides, rock climbing, a costume contest for children and adults, a pumpkin carving contest, and live entertainment for the entire family. Admission is only $3 and children under the age of three are free.
This Halloween, Bell dogs will also have something to howl about as they will have an opportunity to join in the festivities and parade in their favorite doggy costumes for all boys and girls to admire. Be sure to bring your favorite hot dog dressed in costume. However, if you do, please keep the following three items in mind:
- All dogs must be on a leash
- All dogs must have a current vaccination and a current license
- Any dog and it’s owner causing any problem will be asked to leave the park premises
Finally, don’t forget to enter your pumpkin carving in the SPOOKFEST Pumpkin Carving Content to be held on the park baseball field by 6:30 PM. This contest is open to children and adults of all ages. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this family friendly event.
